Clinical Staff
Jill – Licensed Dental Assistant
Jill joined our team back in 1990, and she has loved spending the last 29 years with our practice! She loves getting to know the patients and seeing their reaction when they get their braces on. Even more so, Jill loves seeing how her patients react when they get their braces off! Jill graduated high school early and went directly to dental school. Because of her skills and commitment, she was hired during her internship.
Jill is happily married and has one daughter and one son. In her free time, she enjoys playing sports, hunting, and spending time with her family.
Karla – Registered Dental Assistant
Karla joined our team in 2001. She received her certification from the Dental Assisting National Board and has been a licensed dental assistant since 1979. She also graduated from Northwestern Health Science University in Bloomington in 2004, where she became a certified massage therapist. Karla loves working here because of the interaction she gets to have with our patients. She loves creating beautiful smiles that last a lifetime while also getting to know her patients and teaching them about orthodontic care. Karla is a team player and displays great respect for those our practice has partnered with to help create phenomenal results for our patients. Karla has worked as a dental assistant for many years and feels that anyone who is looking for orthodontic care should choose Dr. Basile. He is easy to talk to, trustworthy, and passionate about providing the highest quality of care.
Karla has two children: a daughter, Kelsey, who is 27 and married; and a son, Jesse, who is 22 and farms with Karla. In her free time, Karla enjoys camping, fishing, traveling, cooking certain cuisines, canning, farming, dancing, attending musical performances, going to county fairs… you name it, she’ll do it! Karla loves trying new things!
Charity – Dental Assistant
Charity has been with our practice for over four years. She is a dedicated and hard-working person, which she demonstrated while attending school in the evenings and on weekends while also working full-time. Charity graduated in 1999 and has over 10 years of experience, most of which she has worked as an orthodontic assistant. Charity enjoys being part of a successful practice and a team that works together. She always does her best and is always looking for ways to improve herself and to better the practice. Charity is great at staying positive!
Charity has four children, ages 8 to 17. She has three girls and one boy. When she has free time, she enjoys fitness and strives to eat healthy. She also works hard to teach her children to be happy, balanced, and independent.
Clerical Staff
Dawn – Scheduling Coordinator
Dawn has been with us for 15 years and received her medical assisting diploma from Century College. As our scheduling coordinator, Dawn is our patients’ first point of contact. She has the privilege of setting a positive tone for their visits. Dawn loves getting to know our patients and their families while watching their confidence grow and their smiles transform as a result of their orthodontic care.
Lakeville is home for Dawn and her husband, Greg. Together, they have two sons, a daughter, and a cat. In her free time, Dawn enjoys gardening, knitting, doing yoga, and taking long walks.
Amanda – Social Media Coordinator/Front Desk
Amanda has been a part of our team since October 2012. She received her associate’s degree in marketing and her bachelor’s in business management from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. Since joining our practice, Amanda has come to love watching smiles transform and seeing the confidence that patients gain as a result. Amanda is always ready to lend a helping hand in any way!
Amanda is the mother of two beautiful daughters and two cats. When she is not at work, she enjoys gardening, fishing, and playing board games with her girls.
Neal – Business Manager
Neal has been with us since 2000 and loves helping the members of our team reach their potential! He graduated magna cum laude from Augsburg College in 1978. As our business manager, Neal helps our practice run smoothly. He loves working with such wonderful people who are focused on excellent customer service. Neal does all he can to make sure that everyone succeeds individually and as a whole.
Neal is married and has three wonderful children. In his free time, he loves to go biking and hiking. He also enjoys watching and playing hockey. Neal has a love for hard rock and loves going to concerts whenever he can.
