Dr. Basile emphasizes a non-extraction treatment approach if possible.
A Specialist in Orthodontics
Orthodontists require additional training of at least two continuous years beyond dental school. Only those who finish an accredited program are eligible for membership into the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Basile provides orthodontic services exclusively.
One Orthodontist
As a patient, you will get Dr. Basile’s personal attention at every appointment because he is the only orthodontist in the office. Seeing one doctor exclusively allows for an ongoing personalized continuity of care.
Additional Training
- Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Basile has also completed a two-year residency at the University of Minnesota in pediatric dentistry and has practiced as a pediatric dentist. Pediatric dentists are primary and specialty oral care providers for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health needs.
- Board Certification
Dr. Basile is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. A board-certified orthodontist is a dental specialist who has completed an American Dental Association accredited graduate program in the specialty of orthodontics. An orthodontist is then eligible to become board certified through the voluntary examination process of the American Board of Orthodontics. Involvement in the certification process is a demonstration of the orthodontist's pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence in the specialty of orthodontics.
- Certified Invisalign® Provider
Dr. Basile has completed all necessary training in Invisalign® therapy making him a Certified Invisalign Provider.
Treatment Options
We offer traditional metal braces, gold braces, ceramic (clear) braces, and Invisalign®.
Second Opinions
Second opinions are welcome, and examinations and consultations are complimentary.
All Diagnostic Records Done In-House
All of your treatment is done on-site. There is no need to travel to other offices for any reason including orthodontic records (photographs, diagnostic X-rays and models).
Flexible Payment Options
We recognize that orthodontic treatment can be costly, that is why we offer affordable, customized, monthly payment plans to our patients. If payment is made in full at the onset of treatment, we offer a fee discount. If you have insurance, we will offer a discount for payment of your portion of the fee that will not be covered by your insurance benefit. For your convenience, we also accept payment by VISA or MasterCard.
Community
Dr. Basile lives in the Prior Lake/Savage area with his wife, Sarah, who is a dental hygienist, and their daughter, Sophia.
